In the style of Anne Sexton's poem When a Man Enters a Woman


when man
enters man a pendulum
swings back
and forth on fire…
doves plow the air

man turns around
with his mouth open
pleasure
appear on his lips
like numbers from the Kama Sutra

are they tied
or does this rough surf
diminished,
do they walk away
like strangers?
